Innovation Untold Video Editing Workshop: Post-production Basics

In conjunction with the Innovation Untold student media contest, Innovation@UCalgary presents a three-hour workshop on how to turn your storytelling vision into reality. Learn how to take basic video footage and edit it to create compelling stories. All levels welcome.

Who : UCalgary students, faculty and staff

Where: Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking

When: Friday, February 28, 4:00- 7:00 p.m.

Participants will learn:

• Introduction to free editing tools
• Time saving tricks
• Basic effects editing
• Sound editing
• Title cards
• How to find free music

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop, but it is not necessary in order to attend the workshop.
